Fantabulastic

It was dejavu at play.. prancing on reality. He was casually flying, no floating in air around a meadow, without a care. It was simple, he just had to flap his hands, no, not it that hurried little birdy way. It was as if he was doing a lazy back stroke while swimming, but pushing down on the air. He could actually feel the thick air in his hands with every gentle push as he lofted higher & higher. He felt light floating on his back facing the sky.

The wind carried him over trees and lakes and it felt as though he had total control. He was not sure exactly how it happened, but all of a sudden, there was some mean looking animal down below with very sharp teeth that was jumping up trying to get a bite out of him. He maneuvered ever so lightly to miss the fangs by an inch and it did not bother him one bit. He had total control. If it seemed that the animal got a little bit closer, he just falpped in a slightly hurried way and away he floated higher, to a safe distance above the ground.

Sometimes, there were people too, trying to chase him down and get him. No problem! He had done it a million times, no sweat, floating around as usual. It only bothered him that ne never really figured out how he got up there. He did not remember how he launched himself nor ever landing back. Was it going to be a soft landing? He never knew. But he always woke up feeling fantabulastic!!
